Smapify’s point sync feature connects the points in Shopify (easyPoints) and Smaregi, enabling a shared point program across online and retail stores. Customers can earn and redeem points on both platforms, allowing for cross-channel traffic and omnichannel strategies.
To use Smapify’s point sync feature, the loyalty app, easyPoints must be installed in your Shopify store. Please refer to the official easyPoints website for installation instructions, pricing details, and other information.
To use Smaregi’s point feature, merchants are required to use a plan higher than the Premium Plus on Smaregi
Sync Specifications
Smapify syncs the points within the customer on Smaregi and the point information within the customers on easyPoints on Shopify. This ensures that point balance changes remain consistent across both platforms.
Points earned from online orders are granted through easyPoints based on the point redemption rate you set in the easyPoints settings. Points granted in Smaregi are controlled via the “Point Conditions” settings in your Smaregi store configuration.
When a customer’s point balance changes in easyPoints, Smapify sends the change amount to update the member’s point balance in Smaregi. When points are granted or manually adjusted in Smaregi, the change amount is synced back to easyPoints.
Point expiration settings must not be configured in Smaregi. Instead, please set expiration rules within easyPoints. For instructions on configuring point expirations in easyPoints, refer to this guide.
If for any reason a discrepancy occurs between the point balances on the two platforms, Smapify cannot automatically correct the difference while the sync feature is enabled. If a specific customer's point balance has a discrepancy, please contact our support team for assistance.
The point sync feature requires customer sync to be enabled in Smapify. When customers visit your retail store and earn points, they must first create an account in your Shopify online store. Once the account is created, the customer record is synced to Smaregi, allowing point balances to be synced across both platforms.
If required fields for customer sync are not completed during Shopify account registration, customer syncing and point syncing will not work. Please see here for details on the required fields.
